The text appears to be very accurate in its information, both in terms of reading content and mathematical examples. Read this book PDF. This is well-designed for an upper division undergraduate course, but not for use for an introductory oceanography course. All of the chapters have the same “voice” and the descriptions and examples are written at an equal level of knowledge.
